Unable to browse Appletalk network in Mac OS X
Symptom:
MacOS 10.x User cannot see any computers that are using AppleTalk.
Problem:
AppleTalk is not enabled in user's 'Directory Access' services list.
Solution:
Enable 'AppleTalk' in Directory Access
- From Finder, Select "Utilities" under the "Go" Menu
- Double Click on "Directory Access"
- Click on the Lock icon at the lower left hand corner of the "Directory Access" window.
- Check "AppleTalk" in the services list.
- Click "Apply" at the lower right hand corner
- Close "Directory Access" window
- Try browse the network again. ( Go - Network )
