Wireless

This section covers getting connected to the Case network using either a 802.11b (11mbps) or 802.11G (54mbps) type wireless network card. The Case Wireless network is located in all dorms, academic buildings and commons areas. Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni and Guests to our campus can all connect to the CaseGuest Wireless Network. See especially How to Set up a Computer to Connect to the Wireless Network.

Faculty, Students and Staff will need to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client if they wish to access any restricted resources. To download the client, see Case ITS's VPN page.

Resident students are being asked to use the wired network when in the dorm rooms in order to preserve the speed of the wireless network.
