I can send email, but not receive
I can send email, but not receive.
Sending email does not go through your account so usually if you can send but not receive your network connection is fine, but there is a problem with your account. Have a friend (or friendly Help Desk staff person!) send you an email message. If the message bounces back to them it will include one of two errors:
- Mailbox Size Quota Exceeded - your mailbox is simply too full, much like a real mailbox it can only hold so many messages. Connect to the webmail page and delete any messages you don't want.
- Insufficient Permission - This is a problem with your account on the server and can happen for a number of reasons. Have your friend forward the error message to postmaster@case.edu so that the email account administrator (Postmaster) can fix your account.
