Why do I keep receiving e-mail sent to other people?

E-mail can be sent to you in a number of ways. When an e-mail message is created to be sent, there are three different areas where the e-mail addresses of people to receive the message can be put: To, CC, BCC. If your address is typed in To or CC, it will show up in the message when you receive it in the corresponding spot. BCC is short for Blind Carbon Copy and any addresses that get typed in that line can't be seen by any of the recipients.
