What program do I use to check Email?
There are several different ways to check your Case email. Most popular and simpliest is the mail.case.edu webpage, however you can also use an email program such as Eudora or Outlook.Eudora is an email program made by Qualcomm inc. and is available in a free light mode from their website www.eudora.com.
To find out what version of Eudora you are using, go to Help on the top menu bar and select 'about Eudora'
Microsoft Outlook is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs, also the smaller Outlook Express version comes with most Windows operating systems.
To find out what version of Outlook you are using, go to Help on the top menu bar and select 'about Outlook'
Entourage is the Macintosh email program provided by Microsoft Office.
If you open your email using an icon like the one below, you use Entourage! Also you can access this in the Microsoft Office folder.
To find out which version of Entourage you are using, click on 'entourage' next to the apple menu and choose 'about entourage'.
Do I have a Macintosh or a PC?
Macintosh Mail
Is the email program built in to Macintosh OS X. (and also 10.2). If you click on an icon like the one below to check your email, you are using Macintosh Mail!
You can also find this by going to Applications under the Apple menu and selecting 'Mail'. To find out what version of Mail you are using, click on 'mail' and select 'about Mail' while Mail is open.
