Can I get Case email off campus?
Can I check my Case Email when I'm not on campus?
Yes! If you are connecting to Case directly using PPP or VPN, checking your mail off campus is exactly the same as on campus. If you are using a different Internet Service Provider such as Ameritech, Sprint or AoL, the set up is still the same, except for sending email.
Sending Email off Campus
Your Send Mail server should be set to the send mail server for your Internet Service Provider. If your ISP does not have a send mail server, use VPN or ppp to connect with us or set your email program to use authentication or Secure Sockets Layering. For most email programs there is a check box or pull down menu in the settings area to turn on authentication.
