Still getting spam
I turned on Spam Control, but I'm still getting Spam! Why?
The people who write junk mail work hard at making their messages look like legitimate mail to mail servers. In order to ensure that legitimate mail will not be blocked, some Spam will get through. Be assured that the vast majority of Spam is caught by the Spam Control system.
Also, remember to use Spam Control you must both enable Spam Control via the Spam Control Webpage, and set a junk mail filter and folder on your email program. For more details, see our Setting up Spam Control instructions.
Note: Alumni and administrative alias accounts are not eligible for Spam Control.
