Turning on Spam Control

Start Here!
How you set up Spam Control is slightly different if you use POP or IMAP for your email.

Do I have POP or IMAP?
  1. You will need to make a Junk mail folder. POP users will make this folder in their Email program, IMAP users will make a folder on the mail.case.edu webpage. The difference between POP and IMAP
  2. Go to the Spam Control web page. You will need to log in with your Case Network User ID and password. The page opens automatically to the 'Junk Mail Filter' page. Under 'Junk-mail options' select to enable junk-mail filtering (by default this will be set to disabled). Click OK.

If you have trouble logging on to the page, try another web browser.
  3. If you like, adjust your personal Accept and Reject lists.
Note: these Lists have no effect if Spam Control is disabled.
You are now using the Spam Control system to filter junk mail!
