Directory Services for Mozilla Mail
To sent up Directory Services in Mozilla:
- Go to 'Edit' and choose 'Preferences'
- Select 'Addressing' from the list on the left (it's under Mail and News).
Put a check mark in the box next to 'Directory Server' by clicking on it, and then click the 'Edit Directories' button.
- Select an LDAP Directory Service and click 'Add'
- Fill in the LDAP information as follows: Name: Whatever you like, we suggest Case LDAP. Hostname: Ldap.cwru.edu Base DN: o=isp Port number: 389 and leave Bind DN blank.
- You're done!
To search the LDAP just type the name, email address or alias of the person you wish to look up, a list of the people matching your inquiry will appear below.
Note: Do not search for a single letter! It will return
every entry in the directory that contains that letter!
