Novell NetWare is an Operating System like Microsoft Windows or Macintosh OS, however it is not used on Personal Computers. Novell provides a means for managing a group of computers over the network. On our campus Novell NetWare is used to access specific file servers such as Pulitzer, Nobel or Darwin. The software provides faculty and staff with a place to keep important files and programs, and lets them safely and securely share those files with other people.
