When I try to download something, a whole bunch of windows open up and it doesn't download!

A common problem is if you have Netscape Smart Download installed. Even if you use Internet Explorer to connect to the Software Center, Netscape Smart Download will try to run if it is on your computer. To fix this problem find Netscape Smart Download and either turn it off or uninstall it.
