Canvas for Macintosh
What is Canvas?
Canvas is a program for graphics, animations and presentations. Currently the only version on the Software Center is for Macintosh OS 8 or 9. These instructions were written using Canvas 7, if you have an earlier or later version the installation may vary.
So, How do I install it?
- On the Software Center webpage, click on Macintosh Download
next to Canvas. The download should automatically begin in a few seconds. If it doesn't, click the word 'here' to begin the download. Your Download Manager should open.
- The Canvas installer
will now be on your desktop. Double click on it.
- If you have Norton Antivirus running, you may get an error to suspend alerts. Click Yes.
- You will get a 'Software Successfully Installed' message. Click 'Quit'. Canvas is now installed! You may delete the installer off of your desktop now, we're done with it.
- There are updates for Canvas, click on the asterisks next to Macintosh Dowload on the Software Center webpage to update your Canvas.
- You must have KeyAccess installed and running to use Canvas. Installing KeyAccess
