Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition for Macintosh
- On the Software Center webpage, Next to Norton AntiVirus, click Macintosh Download.
Note: If you have OS X make sure you click the second arrow.
- Your download manager should pop up.
- When it is done the Norton Installer should be on your desktop. Double click on the installer, it may be called CWRU Norton AntiVirus or LiveUpdate.
Click Continue. - Easy Install should be selected on the pull-down list at the top of the installer, and choose the location for the Norton AntiVirus folder to be created (the "install location") at the bottom of the installer if you want it somewhere other than the default location.
- Click Install. You may be asked which drive contains the System folder; specify this drive by clicking switch drive.
- Specify the level of protection you want. Standard protection is recommended, but full protection will not harm your computer. Click 'Set Preferences and Continue'. This will look different in OS X.
- You will get a message about LiveUpdate like the one below, just click OK.
- Restart your computer when prompted.
- Norton is now installed and protecting your computer. You can put the installer on your desktop into the trash, we're done with it.
