How to use the billing system if you are a student.

Logging In For the First Time?

In order to access the Pinnacle Billing System, you must already have your Case UserID and Password:

UserID
How to get one. When you came to the University, you were assigned a UserID (e.g. axb14). If you do not have a valid UserID please contact the Help Desk at 368-4357 for further assistance.
Password
How to get one. The password that you will use to log into Pinnacle, is the same password you gave yourself, when you received and activated your UserID. (This is the same password that you use to check your Case email account or log into the SoftwareCenter.)

How Do I Use the Site?

You will receive an email from Telephone Services, containing a link to the billing system.

Step 1
Click on the link shown in the email.

Step 2
You will login with your Case UserID and password.
  • Note: If at any time you have forgotten your password, you can go here - Forgotten Password and get the password reset.

Step 3
After you have logged in, you will see a splash screen with "Welcome and your name" at the top. In the column on the left side of the screen, you will see two sections - My Bill and My Tools.

  • To pull up your latest balance, click on the Current Balance link, under the My Bill section.

    • Note: For more information on the linked line items, listed underneath the "Service Activity as of XX-XX-XXXX" heading, please refer to the FAQ section.
Step 4
To see and print out your latest bill, click on the View/Print My Bill link, under the My Bill section.

  • NOTE: You can view your bill's summary in three formats:
  1. HTML (by default) allows the entire bill to be viewed in a detailed summary format.
  2. Excel displays the bill in a downloadable spreadsheet format, but does not include a detailed breakdown of each call made by you.
  3. PDF is a downloadable bill that is presented in an easy to read simple format, but it will not give you a detailed call breakdown.

Step 5
Click on the date link, located under the "Billing Date" column, to pull up your bill summary. The Bill Statement will appear in the middle of the screen.

Step 6
When you are done viewing or printing out your bill, please Logout at the end of the session, so that no one else will be able to access this personal information. You can click on the "Logout" links either under My Tools in the navigation bar in the left or along the top of the window.
