Voice Over IP (VoIP)
Voice Over IP is a technology that allows voice calls to be converted from analog to digital and sent over data networks. This allows Case to use our existing data network (which we use for email, web pages and file sharing) to also transport telephone service throughout campus. By offering Voice over IP (or VoIP), Case is moving toward a "converged" network where voice, data, and video all travel along the Case gigabit network.
