What is my Case Network User ID?

Also sometimes called your login name or username, your Case Network User ID is important.

Usually, your User ID is your initials followed by a number. If your middle initial is not on file or you do not have a middle name, your Case ID has an X as the middle letter. For example Molly Q. Case's old User ID is mxc123.

The Account Activation Page will tell you your User ID when you activate your Case email account.

You also have an email address based on your firstname, a dot, and your lastname. This is NOT your Case ID. If you don't know what your Case email address is, you can look yourself up in the Directory.

Your Case User ID gives you access to my.case.edu, your Case e-mail, the Software Center, and any other protected application that Case offers. You also need your Case User ID to access restricted resources when you're off-campus.
