I have more than one network card in this computer, they can't all match the hostname

Don't panic! Yes, you can have several network cards in one computer. The most common example would be a laptop which has both a regular Ethernet card and a wireless card. As long as one of the cards has a registered hostname that matches the computer name, you are okay.
