Passwords

Case's password policy requires all Case network users to use a “robust, quality” password to access protected network services at Case (this includes the HCM site, Software Center, WebMail, MyCase portal, Blackboard, etc.)

The password is protection against other people accidentally or intentionally damaging one's files or reading personal email. Choose a password that is easy to remember, but one that people will not easily guess. Please do not let anyone else, including friends, know the password.

Robust passwords must be eight or more characters in length and must include at least three of the following four categories: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerals, and/or punctuation. They must not be dictionary words or common phrases and also should not resemble the network ID or name of the user. (NOTE: If you use VPN to access Case's network, please be aware that VPN does not accept punctuation or passwords longer than 15 characters.)

DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSWORD. To change the password, please click on the 'I forgot my password' document found under the FAQ, just below.
